Strata No. 01

Commission from Rs. 280,000 Base sculpture · site engineering, delivery and installation quoted separately

Strata No. 01 is a hand-built wall relief in mineral composite, smoked oak and bronze. Irregular capsules rise at different depths across the surface, shifting from warm black to graphite as daylight moves through the room. A single bronze element interrupts the field.

Each relief is assembled and finished by hand. The layout is established in the studio, then individual elements are cast, placed and toned so the surface holds variation without becoming decorative noise.

Material and placement

The standard 900 × 900 mm work hangs from a concealed aluminium cleat. Larger and site-specific fields are divided into registered backing panels for transport and installation. Final tone, orientation and wall substrate are confirmed before production.
