Pin Bench
Pin Bench is a long walnut plane held by three oval legs and a measured line of bronze locks. A shallow saddle is carved along the seat, easing the edge without softening the bench’s architectural presence.
The flush bronze pins are functional. They secure the dry mechanical joints that allow the legs to be removed for transport, future refinishing or relocation. No visible screws are used.
Length and timber
Three standard lengths suit dining, entry and gallery use. Wider commissions are reviewed against timber availability and structural span. Each top is selected for a continuous grain run and finished with a repairable hard-wax oil.
