Fold Lounge

Fold Lounge is a low chair and ottoman built around two continuous walnut rails. The rails turn through the arm, pivot and floor line without visual interruption. A saddle-leather sling carries the body while cast-bronze pins lock the structure.

The ottoman repeats the same bent section and nests within the chair’s transport envelope. Leather remains removable for repair or replacement without disturbing the timber frame.

Comfort and finish

Seat pitch and sling tension are established in the studio. Walnut tone, leather hide and bronze patina are selected from physical samples. Minor grain and colour variation are part of the work.

Numbered modules and reversible connections are planned so drives, controls, lighting and optical components can be inspected or replaced individually. The final handover includes an operating guide and maintenance plan.
