Orbit Bedside

Orbit Bedside is a low cabinet with six concave circular front panels, two small centre pulls and an open shelf below. Its symmetrical face gives bedside storage the presence of a small relief.

The images are design visualisations. Smoke-toned ash, metal pulls, drawers and concealed cabinet hardware are proposed; the exact door-and-drawer arrangement, clearances, hardware and finish will be resolved in shop drawings and a material sample.

Commission choices

Orbit can be specified singly, as a material-matched pair or in a taller proportion. Internal divisions and cable access can be planned around the intended use.

Use and operation
Only the two centre panels are proposed as operable drawers; the four corner fields remain fixed relief. The bronze pulls require comfortable finger clearance, and drawer travel, bedside reach, anti-tip behaviour and shelf edge radii must be tested on a full-size prototype.

The selected scale is the starting configuration. Final dimensions, structure, clearances, finish, movement and controls are confirmed against site drawings before fabrication.

Shipping and field assembly

Service and replacement parts

Numbered modules and reversible connections are planned so drives, controls, lighting and optical components can be inspected or replaced individually. The final handover includes an operating guide and maintenance plan.
