Ledger is an asymmetric reading-lounge concept with one cantilevered table, one open shelf, a broad seat cushion and two horizontal back bolsters. A sculpted timber ribbon defines the opposite side and continues around the back.
The table may be configured left or right after engineering review. Current images are design visualisations; timber, upholstery, bronze support and dimensions are proposed. A full-size prototype must confirm table reach and load, open-side entry, seat height, edge radii, cushion support and overall stability.
Each approved commission is planned to be hand-finished for its reader and room. Timber tone and upholstery are selected from samples, and a discreet AUTHË engraving is proposed on the rear edge of the table. Natural grain and upholstery variation remain visible.

Use and operation
One side remains fully open for entry. Target seat height is 420–440 mm; the table edge is rounded and positioned within seated reach without crossing the entry path. Table load, cantilever deflection, shelf access, back angle and tip stability require full-size testing.

Proposed smoked ash or Indian walnut, aniline leather, cushion foam, blackened structural metal and an aged-bronze edge.

Shipping and field assembly
Frame, table module and soft components packed separately; final crate and lifting plan require prototype validation. Freight is quoted after crate size, weight, destination, insurance and access are confirmed.
Service and replacement parts
Numbered modules and reversible connections are planned so drives, controls, lighting and optical components can be inspected or replaced individually. The final handover includes an operating guide and maintenance plan.
